I went to turn the light off last night… ![]()
and was startled by what I saw.
I was looking at my Mother’s hands.
Sigh. When did that happen?

Your hand does look very nice but all I can say it that it happens to the best of us!
You have beautiful hands just so ya know!
xoxo
Oh, at least it’s your hands and they look perfectly fine!
I try not to look in the mirror too long – I’ll find more gray in my hair! 🙁
All my life I’ve been told I’m the spitting image of my father – but lately, I’ve been seeing signs of my mother. Maybe it’s true? Eventually we do turn into our mothers? (eek! this could be scary!)
I see my moms hand all the time now too! How does that happen??
Oh you have beautiful hands and nails…. your mom would be proud.
for me it’s the laugh lines around my mouth and eyes that I notice.
Those are lovely! The sad part is when you look and see your *father’s* hands. That’s kind of what I’m experiencing these days. Darn man hands.
It’s shocking, isn’t it? But also sweet.
Uh oh! I haven’t had this happen yet!
Popped in to say hi! I’ve got my dad’s hands–terrifying!
Oh puleeze! Your hands are lovely!
Great blog post though! What a novel way of demonstrating how we are turning into our mothers….I, on the other hand, have hands that are far more wrinkled than my 66 year old mother. Oh the sun! Curse you rays!
Pretty Nails!
awww…this is why i refuse to look in the mirror…in case she looks back at me…smiles.
