How to Survive Life in the Suburbs

Deep & Scary Thought

in Everyday on 10/06/10

I went to turn the light off last night… IMG_4870

and was startled by what I saw. IMG_4876

I was looking at my Mother’s hands.

Sigh.  When did that happen?

I am noticing that too. Yucky (on my hands, not yours!)

I remember being a little girl looking at my mom’s hands. They were rough, thin, bony, and reddish.

As I get older, mine are starting to get rougher and bonier. Still not red! Give me another year and I’ll be right there with you!
