Not enough weeks, not enough days, not nearly enough hours in this summer. Isn’t this always true of summer vacations?
In a little over a week I will have my girls “home” for the summer. I use this term very loosely as teenage girls are rarely home. Between friends, work, and tackling extra school work over the summer, my kiddos are on the move. Throw in a Mama who has truly been bitten by the travel bug and we have a summer season that will be one for the books. There will be Family BBQ’s, and trips to the beach. Long lazy pool days, and of course spontaneous road trips to Toronto, Niagara Falls, or where ever the wind might take us. On top of that? A girls only weekend to Mont Tremblant.
A quick getaway to Beaches Resort in Jamaica! Time in the ocean is always a good idea.
Treasured time with my SassySis and her littles at a cottage for an entire week.
Sigh, cottage country brings me a kind of joy like no other.
Then to top off the summer, an epic trip through Rome, Florence, Tuscany and Venice. If this is a dream, don’t wake me.
I often say, you only get 18 summers with your kids. I plan to make this summer, one my babies never forget.

I’m dying to know what you and your husband do for a living because you are always on the go with trips and it can’t be cheap let alone getting time off of work. You are truly lucky to be able to see the world and as usual I’m totally jealous.
