How to Survive Life in the Suburbs

Did I Just Shower With A Stranger?

in Travel, Uncategorized on 08/12/15

I’m in Cincinnati on a little work gig, and am staying at a little boutique hotel called the museum21c.  After a VERY long day of travel, I dragged my ass into my room, dropped my bag, and forced myself into the shower.  My day was not over yet.  A group dinner was on the agenda before I could crash, and lay my head down on the fluffy white pillows that were calling my name.  I mindlessly cranked that shower water to HOT (cause even though cold would be smarter to wake me up I just couldn’t do it) and dove into the steam praying for a second wind.  What I got instead?  A shock.  Bits and pieces of ummm art sticking out from the wall.

So no, not a shower with a stranger.  But it sure felt like it!

Ears and boobies on the shower wall..and guess what, I touched it.  Yup.  I had to!

Maybe now I’ve seen everything?

Love this. You know I’ve never seen anything like this before, and I have seen a lot of tile and renovations in my life. Ack! LOVE IT! If we didn’t just renovate our bathroom I would be looking into these tiles for sure.

I live right outside Cincinnati and a friend of mine stayed there for her Bacherlorette night. I was the first person that saw the bathroom and everyone ran in when I mentioned seeing an ear…we soon noticed the rest. haha
