Drastic weather changes means headaches galore.
Extra headaches make me super moody.
Hormonal swings triggers emotional eating.
Sometimes I feel like a hamster stuck on a very cruel hamster wheel.
This past week, I did what I could to take care of me.
I drank my 8 glasses of water every day, actually, more like 10.
Ate healthy meals.
Choose the stairs over the elevator.
Hit the treadmill.
Got a solid seven hours of sleep a night. This is a minor miracle.
Then I picked up that cookie dough and muffin mix I ordered months ago for the girls school fundraiser.
It called to me. Bake me! Bake me!
I baked it.
I ate it.
Laugh away scale.
Defeated by headaches and the power of a Chocolate Chip Cookie.

I know about cravings because sweets of any kind are my down fall. Chocolate, pie, cookies or candy, I love it all and I try desperately to stay away from it
I have a sweet tooth and my problem is once I start I can’t stop! I think you did very well to only eat one and it might have helped you to take your mind off your headache too and thus it was a positive thing to do 🙂
This has happened to me many times!
today i was defeated by a nacho chip. or chips.
i sure could use a cookie. or a hug.
nothing like a soft cookie loaded with ooey gooey chocolate
Mmm chocolate chip cookies, so worth it, well deserved?! Cheers
I just love chocolate chip one of my weakness just say yum indeed
home baked chocolate chip cookies are my kryptonite – I am totally weak in their presence.
i never win the fight against a cookie lol
I think it is important not to completely banish a treat
I allow myself a treat a day, as it seems to reduce the cravings.
It is all about the balance! =)
moms always hate to throw food away or waste it and we’d be better if we did toss it than eat it and feel guilty……………….we’ll feel guilty either way
I hear you! I have such a sweet tooth, it is so hard to stay on track!
