Ready for the Ball?

Or at least Grade 8 Graduation.  A pretty big deal up here in Ontario Canada.

Here is a peek at my BlueEyed Girls hair (it is totally pinworthy)…..and a warning.  Many more pictures to come.

You know, proud Mama and all that.Grad Hair, Updo, Hair

Hope you all had a beautiful weekend!

That looks so professional! What kind of curler did you use?

I wish I could take credit for this awesome curl! We had it done at a hair stylist 🙂

Love it. Did the scab heal?

“Almost!” Her knee was almost completley healed. I actually took some sage advice and put some make-up on that knee. 🙂 The scrapes gave her character!

Congrats! It totally is a big deal because next year is high school! YIKES! I won’t tell you just how fast THAT goes by!

Lovely! I had to fight with my 8th grade graduate to wear a tie. The difference between boys and girls, I guess.

Leaving the house behind and headed to Ontario cottage country. 🌲☀️
The hubby and I are planning a 7 night lakeside escape just a few hours from home, and honestly, this is where the girl math really starts mathing. After an expensive year, I’m extra grateful for our HomeExchange membership — and I love browsing all the gorgeous lakefront homes nearby!

Do you have a favourite town or lake in cottage country? Tell me!!

One annual membership fee + listing our home = unlimited swaps all year long. Affordable luxury travel for the win.
