How to Survive Life in the Suburbs

Sometimes it’s the little things. Sometimes it’s watching Duck Dynasty from the tub!

OH yes I did.

I slipped away from the Suburbs to attend the PGMom event in Toronto.

I stayed at the Four Seasons ALL BY MYSELF.  So hard (sarcastic font) to spend an entire evening in a luxury room, a King Size bed, and bathroom right out of a magazine.

P1010263P1010264

Such a chore to take a bath in a tub I didn’t have to clean.

P1010265

Then snuggle down for a silent night under giant duvets and more pillows then one person could ever need.

P1010261P1010268

Yep, some days I feel the need to write some deep, maybe even inspiring thoughts.

Many days I am thankful for this blog as a place to vent.

Some days it’s about the little things.  Today it’s really all about watching Duck Dynasty from the tub.  Pft, today was a very good day.

Thanks P&G

My heart literally stopped when I saw that tub!!! I’m thinking my next house needs a bathroom like that…..especially if I don’t have to clean it!

I’m not sure whether to ask what Duck Dynasty is, I suspect it’s one of those time eaters that I could get through life without knowing about but once you know about it you can’t get by without it LOL

Leaving the house behind and headed to Ontario cottage country. 🌲☀️
The hubby and I are planning a 7 night lakeside escape just a few hours from home, and honestly, this is where the girl math really starts mathing. After an expensive year, I’m extra grateful for our HomeExchange membership — and I love browsing all the gorgeous lakefront homes nearby!

Do you have a favourite town or lake in cottage country? Tell me!!

One annual membership fee + listing our home = unlimited swaps all year long. Affordable luxury travel for the win.

If you want to travel more often and live like a local, you need to check out @homeexchangecom.
