Seriously.  That “dirty picture” business?  Clearly its for the boy folk.  It is a multi-billion dollar business (or something like that, anyway, super ridiculous lots) Men, they like that visual, the escape, the immediate gratification the boobs.  I think?  I don’t get it.  What I like.  What all women like. -The scene in Dirty Dancing when Johnny (the fabulous Patrick Swayze) tells Baby’s Daddy…  “Nobody puts baby in a corner.” and then they blow the room away with their connection and their dancing.  Shiver and tears.  Girl porn.

-Just about every second of “The Note Book”.  Kleenex please.  Romance.  Girl porn.

-The moment in “Forest Gump” when Jenny realizes it is Forest giving a speech in front of The Washington Monument and they run to each other through the crowd, through the water and to the cheers of the breathless crowd.  Leaves me breathless too.  Girl porn.  

-“Sleepless in Seattle” when the star crossed lovers finally meet at the top of the Empire State Building.  Sigh.  By now you know where I’m going….girl porn. 

-“Ghost’. Patrick and Demi rocking the pottery wheel. Oh wait, maybe I just have a bit of a problem with Patrick? 

You get the idea…the idea of romance, the hint of lust, the hope that a man can be a genuine stand up guy, a hero even, the promise of a happy ending.  Le sigh. 

Yep…guy porn, it’s overrated, girl porn…can’t get enough.

    13. Last night, my best friend was looking at Better Homes & Gardens magazine. She found a picture of a room she really liked and said “I want to do all these things!!” Her husband said “Well, if that’s all it takes, I’m buying you a dirty magazine!” If only he understood the difference in girl porn and guy porn. 🙂

    14. I don’t know what’s wrong with me but I don’t find any of those scenes “girl Porn” esp The Notebook. Don’t get me wrong if it works for some that’s terrific. I would never deny anyone their thrills.. I guess I’m just not a romantic.
