Today I stayed in my pajamas until noon.
I finally had a shower and cleaned up by about two.
I let my hair dry. I did not brush it out carefully and with the love it deserves, it is now a tangly ugo mess.
I did not make my kids shower at all.
For breakfast I ate peanut butter, so thick and creamy, spread on hot fresh toast.
I drank coffee with full fat cream.
We smashed an entire Gingerbread House with an ice cream scoop. I ate my fair share. OK. Maybe a bit more.
Lunch was pasta stuffed full with left over shrimp from last nights party for two.
Somewhere in here I snuck in Hot Chocolate.
Dinner, the oh so nutritional chicken nuggets with a side of mashed potatoes.
We have one more movie to get through tonight. There will be popcorn….and extra butter.
For these offences of laziness and over eating against my body I do not apologise!
However Dear Body, I will try and do better tomorrow.

You, my dear woman, understand how to bring in the New Year!
Like me…there is always tomorrow!

Now that’s what I call living. Gotta start the New Year with a bang, a bang of good food.
I’ve been on atkins for 3 months, so when I ate a big bacon classic and fries, to say the least I was in heaven.
I look forward to blogging with you. I can tell its going to be a fun year.
…i don’t like mama’s last blog Orange Juice, Gates and Pee?
Sounds like a good day to me! And one that has suddenly made me very hungry. 🙂
Ok, You got me! I ate toast, macaroni and cheese, pretzels, and a handful of jelly beans for dinner, with Diet Montain Dew!
Tomorrow starts the new year!

I have recently stumbed upon your blog and love it. I also live in the burbs but I do not have the mandatory dog and kids so husband and I do not quite fit in. It is an interesting place to be.
I love your New Years Day… it sounds very similar to ours.

Woah…that’s a day right there! Why can’t we get paid for that, huh? That’s my burning question!!!
Hey, I had toast with peanut butter for breakfast too and then went to Starbucks for a date with hubby 🙂 Your day sounds awesome.
