Every once in a while you get a phone call that makes you smile. Sometimes you get a call that makes you angry, and once in a while, if you are very lucky, you get a call that makes you jump around the kitchen like a crazy person yelling, singing and dancing “Entertainment Tonight Canada and Skinny Cow picked ME to go the Grammys and live blog the entire event! SQUEEE!”. This is what happened to me just two years ago and it was an evening I will never forget.
A whirlwind trip for two to the most incredible night in music.
At the Staples Center in LA people!
My job was to blog about everything I saw. No problem! Um, should I mention the swanky hotel and hair and make-up team they threw in just to make sure I was ready for the big event. #spoiled
Never before had I been given A chance like this to walk the Red Carpet, and rub shoulders with the stars. The paparazzi were no joke! 
I blogged and tweeted my butt off. (SassyHubby was a fabulous assistant!)
I still get goose bumps every time I think about it, and truth be told, I’m all kinds of ready to do it again. Hmm GRAMMY’s 2016 covered by SassyModernMom. Has a good ring to it, don’t cha think?
Hope everyone enjoyed this incredible show tonight. The Grammy’s will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Sounds like a fund night & you look(ed) amazing. Well done- I was lucky enough to be on a red carpet a few years ago when my son was in a production & invited me to attend. Very special and proud moment. 🙂
