How to Survive Life in the Suburbs

Ciao Bella

in Travel on 10/15/18

I’ve reached the point of “going on a trip and have so much to do” that I’m currently adding things to my “To Do” list simply so I can scratch things off.  Crap.  Time to face the truth.  I’m just not going to get everything done so it’s time to LET IT GO!

In a matter of hours, I’m jumping on a plane and headed to one of my favourite places in the world.  The Turks and Caicos!

This stunning island with its turquoise blue waters and powder white sand beaches keep calling me back.  This trip will be part work and part play as we head down for the phenomenal Beaches Moms  – Social Media On The Sand Conference.  To say that I’m excited to get away with my Husband, AND have the opportunity to connect with some of the savviest, smartest and enthusiastic women in the biz would be an understatement.

If you need me, I’ll be splitting my time between the pool, the beach, and the amazing restaurants.

For an entire week, we will float in the pools (with the swim up bar please), explore the restaurants, and walk the miles and miles of powder white beach.  There will be some learning, some laughing and some making of memories.  An entire week where the toughest decision shall be beach or pool?  Yup, I can handle that!

Hope you can follow along as we head out on our latest adventure!  As always find me on Instagram, Facebook and of course Twitter.  The hashtag for this event is #BeachesMoms.   I’ll be tweeting and Instagramming way too much and more than happy to answer any questions you may have!

Take care of each other while I’m gone!

I would love to see this for myself one day… in the mean time I’m sure grateful to hear about it and see pictures. I just wanted to say I love the whole ‘adding things just so I can cross them off’ because I thought I was the only one who did this!

These pictures don’t even seem real. How lovely! How lucky are you! I enjoy travel bloggers so I can experience places I will never get to. Seeing it through your eyes is great. I love the pictures the most. I can imagine the place but seeing the pictures makes it feel like I am actually there. Thank you,

Reading all of these posts about the Turks and Caicos has us seriously considering this as our first warm vacation. (It’s much closer to us than Hawaii!)

Leaving the house behind and headed to Ontario cottage country. 🌲☀️
The hubby and I are planning a 7 night lakeside escape just a few hours from home, and honestly, this is where the girl math really starts mathing. After an expensive year, I’m extra grateful for our HomeExchange membership — and I love browsing all the gorgeous lakefront homes nearby!

Do you have a favourite town or lake in cottage country? Tell me!!

One annual membership fee + listing our home = unlimited swaps all year long. Affordable luxury travel for the win.

If you want to travel more often and live like a local, you need to check out @homeexchangecom.
