Ah Yeah. I have a few umm odd crushes?
There is the normal stuff, like the way I lust after any kind of coffee that I don’t have to brew, and how I am sure the only way that hot cup of coffee could be better is if that cuppa arrived by delivery truck. Sigh. Then there is my obsession with popcorn and of course just about anything covered in chocolate. Chocolate covered pretzels, apples…did you know they have chocolate covered sunflower seeds? These crushes are all normal. Shut up, they are.
But these are not the crushes I am talking about. So here are my true confessions….
I have an unhealthy love for my heated car seat. It’s the middle of April and I still can’t get enough. I don’t know what my chilled Canadian arse did before it had the pleasure of sitting on the gift of a warmed up seat! Divine! Ohh and wait, almost as good? The heated steering wheel. Luv.
Apparently, I like being warm cause I have a bit of a problem with fires too. Not in a pyro kind of way, but in a I LOVE myself a big ol cracklin, gotta take my sweater off, it is so flipping hot in here wood burning fire! Love. Fires with roasted marshmallows and the aforementioned chocolate, yep, love that too.
I have a crush on internet travel sites. It’s true! TripCentral and TripAdvisor feed this crush in an unhealthy way. I can surf travel sites for hours. I don’t even have to have a glimmer of hope that there is a vacation in my future. The Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, New York, Paris, Greece, I am forever planning the perfect fantasy vacation. My close friends know this. At this point I am a pretty good amateur travel agent. and apparently I brag about it, that’s attractive.
Movies from the 80’s. You know Pretty in Pink, 16 Candles, The Breakfast Club. I can watch them over and over and over. Clothes from the 80s bad, movies from the 80’s totally crush-worthy. Is Forest Gump from the 80’s?
My newest crush is a girl crush. Kelly Clarkson. That girl can sing, keeps it real, empowers other women and is ridiculously funny.
I think I will shut up now. Don’t want to let all the weird out at once, but fess up.

I love my heating pad and I also love the 80’s movies but one thing that I still miss from the 80’s is big poofy hair although my hair wasn’t as bad as others but I still miss it.

Watching cake decorating movies on youtube. It takes time, makes me want to bake, makes me bake, eat too much cake, spend too much money on sprinkles I only use once, etc.
Some of mine include…heated car seats, too! (my hubby’s doesn’t work anymore so I refuse to drive his car), Cows’ chocolate-covered potato chips/PEI Mix, Amazon e-books, entering contests, hearting Virtue and Moir and pug posts on Twitter and diet Pepsi. But, not necessarily in that order of unhealthiness.
I forgot celebrity magazines – duh!
Love this – my crush is water – I can stare at it for hours. Lakes, rivers, heck even a puddle if I’m desperate.
Chocolate, popcorn, chocolate covered popcorn and pretzels..Oh my! These are all some of my favorite things and love eating popcorn while watching movies or reading a good book!
I personally think there is nothing wrong or unhealthy with your crushes…. my seat warmer MAY be on as well in April 😉
