There are fewer things that can change your attitude or spice up your wardrobe faster than a pair of brand new glasses.  Changing out frames for a new sassy pair, or sliding on a new fab set of sunglasses can take you from feeling frumpy to fabulous.  It’s all in the style, the fit, the fun!  So when I was contacted by Ottica to see if I was interested in trying out their on line site to find my next new look, I knew I just had to give it a whirl.

Here’s what I found when I went shopping.  The site is simple and straightforward, easy to navigate.  You can choose to browse by   Eyeglasses, Sunglasses or Brands.  Once you’ve chosen you can then browse by Women or Men, or other popular categories.

There are so many beautiful frames to choose from! The pictures of the frames are detailed and clear, and each has the option to “try on”.  This feature is kind of brilliant.  Not only can you try your favourite frames on a variety of faces, but you can also upload a picture of yourself to “try on” your own face!

Of course, I had to try out this feature for myself.  It didn’t take long to load up a photo and start “trying on” some new specs.  Now there were a few hilarious results, not all the glasses fit the way they should, but thanks to the “try on” feature I was able to rule out a couple of pairs of sunglasses and make a final choice!

Ultimately I decided on these little beauties. A fresh new pair of sunnies for the rest of the Summer, into the Fall and to take on a couple of upcoming trips!

I popped them in my shopping cart and was ready to roll! Worthy of note, there is an option to add prescription lenses if needed.

In a matter of just a few days, my brand new sunglasses arrived, safe and sound packed in a little box lovingly surrounded by bubble wrap.  I carefully unpacked them and took them out for a spin.

The Michael Kors Sunglasses were exactly as I hoped they would be.  A great fit, style, and the price point on this pair was phenomenal!  This is the face of one happy shopper!
