The Best Of Handmade Canada ~ Giveaway ARV $70

in Lifestyle on 06/30/17

Do you shop local, are you passionate about supporting Canadian owned and operated businesses?  Then you need to hear about Canadian Originals and the New Handmade in Canada Subscription Box.

What is Canadian Originals?  Canadian Originals is a family owned business based in Oakville, ON. They take pride in buying handmade goods, shopping at local markets and craft fairs, supporting small stores featuring Canadian artisans and makers. Realizing they were missing out on many fantastic products made by artisans outside of their immediate area, they decided to launch a subscription box, by sourcing goods from across the country.

What is this subscription box and what makes it different from others you may have heard of? Canadian Originals is a monthly subscription box featuring artisan products selected from the best Canada has to offer. Perfect as a gift, or to keep all to yourself, each months box aims to includes a variety of lifestyle items of interest to women, ranging from jewelry, home décor, natural bath and beauty items and stationery, to glass and ceramics, art and pretty accessories.

I received the July box to review.  Here’s what I found!  Wrapped up in festive paper and packed with care, the July Box is ready to help us Celebrate Canada’s 150th historic anniversary in style with the aptly named Canadian Originals debut box. It’s this companies very first subscription box and it’s a winner.  Inside I found several sweet surprises and exclusive designs.

Up first a lovely necklace with a little sparkle.  I’ll be wearing this necklace this weekend with pride!

A giclée art print perfect to either to frame or gift to someone special.

A beautiful home decor item (not shown), a celebration rainbow soap, a package of caramels by Hugo and Nate Confections, a limited release collectible from the Canadian Mint, and a deliciously scented beeswax candle.

What I loved:

*This is a Canadian company supporting Canadian businesses.

*The subscription box features artisan products selected from the best Canada has to offer.

*It’s a great way to spoil yourself or give to someone you love.  A perfect gift!

*You can choose subscriptions from one month through twelve

*Boxes are packed with care.

*Prices are in Canadian Dollars.

*Subsciptions can be ordered by 1 month, 3, 6 or 12 months.

*A truly unique subscription service that would make a great corporate gift, or teachers got too!

If you are addicted to pretty things, like to support your fellow Canadian, or are looking for a unique gift for someone special, look no further than Canadian Originals.  Their lovely boxes provide a little something for everyone on your list, and don’t forget to spoil yourself!
