How to Survive Life in the Suburbs

Ready To Be #DysonClean ? ~ Giveaway ARV $599

in Lifestyle on 05/15/17

Ugh.  Does this sound familiar?  You’re expecting company in a an hour and the house is a disaster.  What you need to do is a quick “shuffle’.  Tidy the kitchen, wipe up the bathroom counters and give the floors a quick once over.  You run around, grabbing stray magazines and homework off the floor, get those dishes put away, finally get to the vacuum and FAILURE.  Why is the vacuum not SUCKING THIS TIME!  Every time with this vacuum it’s something different!  The bags full, the spinny thing won’t spin, it just won’t suck!  Why can’t I just plug in my vacuum and know it will work.

Enter the Dyson Big Ball Animal 2 into my life.

Every time I plug it in I know it will work!  Dog (or people) hair doesn’t slow it down.

It moves seamlessly from hardwood to rugs, and if the container that holds all that dirt fills up, I just press one button and empty it.  Easy Peasy.

Have you been a victim of vacuum frustration?  I want you to tell me all about it!  Take a moment to leave me a comment telling me your current frustration with your current vacuum and you could WIN your very own Dyson Ball Animal 2!

Yes you read that right!  This is your chance to WIN a Dyson Big Ball Animal 2.  ARV $599.99

Here’s how to enter: Comment below and answer this question; “What is your biggest frustration with your current vacuum?” Then use the Rafflecopter form provided to earn those extra entries.

We have 4 rescue animals, 2 mutts and 2 cats. (190 lbs total) …everything is covered in fur. I vacuum every day and the vacuum I have just doesn’t dig deep enough. It also has a vacuum bag which with the amount of hair it does pick up I’m tired of constantly changing. We need a better vacuum that deals with all the fur and dirt our fur babies bring in 🙂

My biggest frustration with my vacuum is that it doesn’t get all the cat hair off my rugs and upholstery, even if I go over and over the same spot.

My vacuum doesn’t pick up pet hair very well.

Rescued a beautiful Alaskan Malamute a few months ago….Malamutes blow their coat twice a year! Of course the first one happened right at the same time my central vac died, and as a single Mom, I cannot afford to fix it at the moment. I need a Dyson animal vacuum so I don’t lose my sanity (or have to give up the dog!). Thanks for this opportunity.

My old one died, so I replaced it. Could not afford to spend a lot of money so bought one on sale that was $100 off and came to $99. It does an ok job, but certainly does not get all the dog hair, is heavy, not great on stairs. I watched my daughter use her Dyson yesterday and am so jealous. This would be an amazing for a senior citizen like me! Thanks for the opportunity! I need a vacuum that SUCKS!

my biggest problem with my current vacuum is that it died 3 days ago 🙁 Currently trying to decide on a new one.

My current vacuum is very old and bulky. The wheels are seized on it making impossible to move across carpet. The floors get scratched if I don’t pick it up to move it. The powerhead shorted out so it doesn’t work anymore. I NEED A NEW VACUUM!

The suction isn’t the greatest and it is a chore in itself lugging it up and down the stairs!

My biggest frustration with my current vac is it doesn’t SUCK, and therefore, it sucks. We would love to experience Dyson clean!

It doesn’t have enough power to remove all the dirt and lint on my carpets.

      May 16, 2017 at 1:29 pm

My problems are that my present vacuum isn’t a Dyson and it’s big, heavy and unmovable, not to mention that the suction’s not the best (that would be a Dyson 🙂 ). Mine I daren’t use on the stairs as I can’t maneuver it properly and have a fear of falling down the stairs and at my age that could mean broken bones and I do want to suffer from post concussion syndrome ever again either.

It’s old, large and heavy! Not stair friendly

My frustration is that it does not pick up al the dog hair! I swear I could vacuum multiple times and still it’s left behind.

    14. Tara Betterley says

      May 16, 2017 at 12:54 pm

My biggest frustration is being able to get it the head into places. It is heavy and very bulky. I need something that can be easily picked up – and something that I can move from carpet to hardwood flooring/tile without changing heads.

My biggest frustration with my current vacuum is it’s way too heavy and not picking up the cat hair !!
