Ellie The Puppy Meets Her Match! ~ #DysonClean

As a Mama who spends her time loving, living and working from home there are a few things I just don’t skimp on.  I need good coffee.  Great light.  A fast and reliable lap-top and a vacuum with a difference.  This my friends was way I was actually excited to hear that Dyson has done it again with the evolution of the upright vacuum and launch of the Dyson Big Ball Animal 2.  It’s perfect for homes with families, pets and those with allergies and asthma, and fits right into my home and busy lifestyle.

 

The lovely people of Dyson sent me a pretty, yes a pretty, full size upright vacuum to test out and review.  After snapping this little baby together (with only minimal assistance from my teenage daughter) I was ready to go.

I turned on this piece of equipment and low and behold, I felt joy?  The Dyson Vacuum uses ball technology.  What this means for me?  It easily twists and turns around the tightest of corners.  The entire vacuum was light enough to lift up my stairs, and WHAT? Went from rug to hardwood, (Yes, it does both! ), without making any big equipment changes!  The self-adjusting cleaner features a base plate that automatically adapts to the floor surface, creating a seal to remove dust from hard floors, but still protecting delicate surfaces.  Winning.

 

 

 

Not only that!  This thing sucks.  Literally!  Before I was done my very first room, I needed to change out the canister (hangs head in shame) This vacuum was clearly sucking out some dirt that had been left behind by my previous inferior piece of err vacuum! Lucky for me, emptying the canister is as simple as a click! No messy bags to deal with, no running to the store to buy refills.  I was back to cleaning in no time.  And clean I did.  Dyson Clean.

I vacuumed hardwood, ceramic, rugs and stairs.  I used attachments for blinds and discovered I have an attachment for pets!  Eek!  Perhaps I am a Domestic Goddess after all, because I am truly loving this vacuum.

Not only did I get to try out all the fabulous features of this little whiz of a vacuum, but I was able to share my experience with a friend.  Thanks to Dyson I was able to gift a Dyson Big Ball Animal 2 to one of my SassyGirlfriends.  The hardest choice?  Who to give it to.  After a little consideration, my choice was clear.  I had to gift this incredible little machine to a friend who just recently expanded her family.  World, meet Ellie.

No one deserves a Dyson Big Ball Animal 2 more then the owners of a brand new ball of fur.  My girlfriend was shocked, surprised, overjoyed.  And that was before she even plugged it in!!!  The Dyson has already made a huge difference in her life.  Making cleaning up after her wee pets faster, easier and just a little bit more fun.  Reports are that this new wonderful vacuum “cleans better than any vacuum she has ever owned and the motor is much quieter“.  My friend also reports when she’s running her new favourite vacuum “it’s so quiet it does not scare the puppy!  A huge deal!”  As if that wasn’t enough even her sons are now willing to help out with the vacuuming chores around the house.  Cleaning up after the puppy is now faster and easier, making her life just a little bit sweeter.  Thanks to this gift, her house is now truly Dyson Clean!

Verdict:  Life is better with a Dyson.

This vacuum is easy to use, has a lengthy electrical cord, which I love.  Is light enough that even someone like me with a bit of a nagging back injury can haul around, and most importantly it cleans like no other piece of equipment I have brought into my house.  Moving seamlessly from hardwood to carpet saves me time in my day, and finally awards me that Domestic Goddess status.  The Dyson Big Ball Animal 2 really does make a difference to your everyday life, taking my rugs from clean to Dyson Clean,  and is now SassyModernMom approved.
