I experimented with our Quick Touch Crisp. Here are some remarkable ways we’ve used this appliance:
- reheating leftover pizza while maintaining it’s crispiness
- creating a toasted/grilled cheese sandwich without turning on the stove
- apple crisp~ re-heated to perfection and the top stayed crisp
- a “baked potato”! By simply pressing potato and letting the appliance do the work. It knows what to do.
How does it help to make things crispy?

What I loved:
- The short cut buttons. Breville’s Shortcut buttons, tucked away on the inside of the door, make it easy to cook or reheat certain foods with one simple touch, because they are pre-programmed to achieve the ideal time, temperature and results. Choose from Beverage, Popcorn, Baked Potato, Pizza, Bacon, Grilled Cheese, Frozen Snacks, Melt Chocolate or Soften Butter. Yes, it “melts” chocolate for you. Softens butter without fail, and I can’t stop hitting the “Beverage” button to re-heat my never ending cups of coffee.
- The crisper tray is dishwasher safe.
- Time and power can be adjusted on the fly
- Defrosting just got easier thanks to “Smart Defrost”. This setting is designed to gently defrost foods without overheating it or drying out the edges. No more rubber chicken.

OMG this thing can do everything!!! I need one. The smart defrost is key. i don’t know how many times i forgot to take something out to dethaw and my microwave just doesn’t do a good job dethawing
