Hotel L’Orologio Venezia – An Apartment Hotel in the Heart Of Venice

Recently we had the opportunity to stay at the Hotel L’Orologio Venezia, located on the Grand Canal, mere steps from the Rialto Bridge.  This location is an excellent place to use as a home base to explore the sprawling and exciting city of Venice.  The surprise of this hotel? Hidden away on the third floor, is a Deluxe Two Bedroom Apartment, simply perfect for families.

The two bedroom apartment consists of a large open family room with attached galley style kitchen.  It’s complete with full size fridge, stove, single coffee maker and microwave. All manner of dish-ware are at your disposal.  The space has a minimilast feel, but everything one could possible need to make themselves at home.

This unit is comprised of  two spacious bedrooms. One with two singles (that can be pushed together to create a King) and the other a Master King suite . There are also two full bathrooms. All the space you could ever need.  And of course there is the view, the mesmerizing view of the Grand Canal.  No filter needed.

Included in your stay is everything you would expect at a traditional hotel:

Plus a continental style buffet breakfast. The breakfast includes the normal continental fare *plus eggs, sausages, bacon, fruit cups, cookies, and Prosecco.  There must be Prosecco.  A fabulous way to start your day before you head out to explore the city.

What you need to know:

*The apartment is on the third floor, 46 steps up from the ground. (Yes we counted.  Every single time) The affable and helpful bellman will carry your bags up and down for you, but trips up and down those stairs throughout your stay will be under your own power. The hike up is worth it for the amenities, the quiet, and the additional space for your family.
*If you are interested in staying at an apartment at this hotel, book early. There are only two.
*These luxurious apartments must be rented for a minimum of three night stays
