How to Survive Life in the Suburbs

Take The Trip

in Family on 09/06/16

As I frantically run around my little corner of the suburbs, doing all the mundane things one must do; laundry, groceries, banking, paying bills and fighting with school calendars ,I realize I need to give myself a little time out.  Life has a way of getting away from us.  Over scheduled, so chaotic, too many “must do’s, not nearly enough family time.  The goal once again?  To find that magical balance so you spend your time loving your life, not just “getting through” to the next day.  Don’t we all deserve so much more than that?  Every day should have joy, laughter and if we are lucky maybe even those little butterflies in your stomach of emotion as you embark on a new adventure.  Sure, sometimes life requires you to just push thorough, but it can be, should be so much more.

Life is short.

Celebrate the little victories.   Let the little things go.  Be thankful for every single moment, because you never know what’s going to happen around the bend.

Feeling all warm and fuzzy…and maybe still a little sleep deprived toady.  Thankful for family, for friends, the good times and even the harder one’s because they’ve helped me create the life we have now. Already planning that next great adventure.

Dream on.

I like your way of thinking because you’re right we all deserve more but without money it’s hard to get it. I will just go anywhere, even my backyard and just enjoy the weather or food at a restaurant. Like they say “It’s the little things”

It’s so easy to get caught up in the little things that can make life seem overwhelming. I’m with you. Take a deep breath. Enjoy the moment and take the trip.
