Spring has finally arrived and with it comes the dirt, the mud, the mess! Finally the kiddos are getting outside more, playing on the trampoline and volleyball in the backyard, and bringing the lovely outdoors in. The belief that messes are a part of a child’s development is increasing with the generations. Seventy-five per cent of millennials think that letting kids make messes encourages their creativity- this is in comparison to the 62 per cent of Boomer parents.
A mess can be a great learning opportunity, in so many ways. Nearly all parents (97 per cent) agree that young children learn a lot from cleaning up a mess. And there’s no easier way to get your kids involved then with Swiffer!
