Drama With The Thermostat

I live in the suburbs in a house with a temperamental cat, a diva dog, an understanding Hubby and two teen girls.  I watch my share of soaps (don’t judge, it happens). I may even have done my fair share of “head shaking” at the women who don’t know how to use the carpool lane.  I know drama.  What I never expected to have to deal with?  Drama with the thermostat.  Yup, you read that right.  You see, I live in a house that is not even 30 years old, you would think things around this place would be in pretty good order.  They aren’t.  In the last seven years we’ve had to replace windows, the roof, the furnace and the air conditioner.  But it seems try as we might, no matter what we do, someone (not pointing fingers but mainly me) is never happy with the temperature of our house.  At least once a day I find myself wandering over to that little white box on the wall pondering the ramifications of just nudging the temperature up a degree or two.  You know, because winter has lasted forever.  In the winter my bedroom is always cold.  My feet like bricks of ice.  My Hubby no longer finding it “cute” that I warm my blue toes on his legs when I crawl into bed.  In the summer, the upstairs of our home is like a sauna, the main floor not much better.  So when I was asked if I wanted to try the Dyson Hot + Cold I accepted without a moments hesitation.
