How to Survive Life in the Suburbs

So Long Sweet Summer

in Everyday on 09/03/15

A summer crammed full with travel and adventure.  Time with friends and quiet afternoons around the pool.  Lazy days at the lake, and even a campfire or two.  I don’t have many complaints about this summer, except that it’s gone far too soon.Summer2015So long summer, I hope the winter is half as sweet.

I never like summer coming to an end and today we had all of 1 cm of snow, which caused havoc on the roads – what you weren’t expecting snow, this IS CANADA folks! Now I can’t wait for summer again and it’s such a long way off!

Leaving the house behind and headed to Ontario cottage country. 🌲☀️
The hubby and I are planning a 7 night lakeside escape just a few hours from home, and honestly, this is where the girl math really starts mathing. After an expensive year, I’m extra grateful for our HomeExchange membership — and I love browsing all the gorgeous lakefront homes nearby!

Do you have a favourite town or lake in cottage country? Tell me!!

One annual membership fee + listing our home = unlimited swaps all year long. Affordable luxury travel for the win.

If you want to travel more often and live like a local, you need to check out @homeexchangecom.
