How to Survive Life in the Suburbs

First World Problems

in Everyday on 09/15/15

I spilled my coffee. Not only do I have to clean that pumpkin spice disaster up, but that Starbucks I had been sipping was super yummy.  I wasn’t done with it yet.

I’m trying to buy a new chair for our family room…I can’t find one I like.

Westelm? Wayfair? Do I have any Canadian readers who have ordered furniture from these places?  I’m suffering from fear of the click!  I don’t know if I should buy from one of those on-line sites.  How do you buy a chair without sitting on it?

Mean Girls Suck.  That is all.

My scale is a bitch.  I’m putting her in a corner until she can speak to me in a more polite manner.  Don’t flash your ugly numbers at me and think there will be no consequence.

Possibly related; I hate all my clothes.  Could just be PMS.

The dog ate another one of his beds.  Maybe he has PMS too.

We have a wedding to go to on Saturday night and the invitation indicates “Formal Attire”. Sigh.  Translation please?

Yup, these are my first world problems.  Ridiculous right?

It doesn’t matter which world your in people have problems whether they’re big or small. The every day frustrations can drive me crazy or frustrate the hell out of me too!

Immense problems no doubt – at the time but really just irritating things in the big scheme of things that make you mad. How boring would it be if everything went according to plan?

Haha I have way too many first world problems!! I recently got a new phone and the worst part about it is that autocorrect doesn’t know me yet…grrrrr!

Hey I totally understand! It might be first world problems but they are the truth. I don’t even dare step on the scale, after a week of indulging in yummy foods while on vacation. So scale… you go into that closet and don’t come out until you play nice to me! 😛

My dog eats her bed too. I don’t get it. If I was a dog I’d be laying all over that shit, now chewing it up and pooping it out. Sleep rules!

I also have to go to a wedding but it’s on Sunday. Who gets married on Sunday! Wedding is at 10:30. Dinner at 6:30. My son sleeps at 6:00. It is not going to be a good day. And I still don’t have a dress. I’m thinking of trying Rent Frock Repeat. Formal. Fancy. And I won’t go broke! 🙂

Those little first world problems – while not huge in the grand scale of things – are pretty annoying. As for the formal attire – I think a dark suit and a beautiful, new cocktail dress for you!

LOL Maybe, but maybe not? Those little things start to add up!
And Formal Attire? I’m thinking really fancy dress and a dark suit.
