I once read, you only get 18 summers with your children…. I intend to make the very most of every single one of them.
At the beginning of each summer I sit down with my SassyHubby and we create a master plan. Seriously, we really do. This plan? It’s part dream list and part calendar. Trying to squeeze in as much travel, family time, a few road trips and a couple of beach adventures into the eight glorious weeks of summer. It can be a crazy juggle, but so worth the trouble.
Some ideas on our “travel bucket list” for this year included; a family trip to the local beach, a far flung trip to the Turks and Caicos, an adventure to a theme park, taking in a good old fashioned fair, a parents only trip to Toronto, and my favourite…. precious time at a cottage on a quiet lake.
We may not have checked off all the items on our bucket list just yet, but there are still a couple of weeks left!
As we approach the end of the summer I realize it’s time to get serious, we still have things to do and the dreaded Fall season will be hear before we know it. I’m doing everything I can to take advantage of the sunshine, the warm weather and cram in the fun before the days get shorter, the nights turn cool and school is back in session. I see one last trip to the beach in our future, and definitely more time with family and friends. We’re still looking forward to those end of summer fairs, and I wouldn’t say no to another spontaneous getaway with my SassyHubby!

Well everytime the weather is nice I want to do outside activities before it becomes cooler.
Summer never ends for me. I find my fun wherever I go! Reading is my 4 seasonal pastime. I try and keep a tan year round and its fun to me to take a drive to visit places all year round. I blonde my hair to give me that summer feeling longer. FUN! WOW.
We will be soaking up all the sun we can in the last days, We spend a lot of time in our backyard with the pool. Hate to see summer end 🙁

We are heading to Vancouver for the long weekend to have some fun and do some shopping.
unfortunately I am not going to be doing much relaxing these last couple of weeks. getting ready for a move BUT definitely excited about it and will be relaxing after we are in our new house
I want to go to a festival and visit some people.
We’re doing a family day out with just the three of us to unwind and we’ve lined up a new trailer to squeeze more out of next summer.
