Living The Dream At Regent Grand Resort ~ Family Travel In The Turks & Caicos

in Travel on 12/06/14

Regent3

Picking up where we left off on our tour of the Regent Grand Resort accommodations, it’s time to explore the grounds of this true vacation treasure.  Set in a gorgeous location in the middle of Grace Bay Beach in the Turks and Caicos, you will want to spend as much time as possible experiencing all this beautiful property has to offer.  This is a condo style resort for those with discriminating taste.

When you leave the comfort of your luxurious  condo style hotel at the Regent Grand Resort, you step into a postcard.  The infinity edge pool is surrounded by dark pillow laden lounge chairs and sun soaked umbrellas.  Grab your book and your drink and prepare to enjoy a glorious day. Need Wifi?  It’s included!

Regent4

The Mosaic Infinity pool is large, warm (yes it’s heated) and welcoming.

The pool is a secluded and quiet area to relax and maybe grab a cocktail from Harvey’s pavilion pool-side bar.

The pool has been specifically designed with sloping slides for easy entry or lounging in the shallow water and this pool gets sun all day long!

To the beach!  Down the path, postcard perfect, surrounded by tropical greens and dotted with bright flowers, you might have to pinch yourself to know what you are about to see is not a dream.

TCRegent3

Endless blue ocean to swim in, and miles of powdery beach to explore.

All you have to do is pack your swimsuit, sand toys and sunscreen!

After a perfect day of sand and surf, don’t forget to rinse off in the outdoor shower!

Regent6

You don’t want to take any extra sand up to your home away from home!

Keep your camera handy as you stroll around, there are some stunning birds that have taken up residence near the pool!

After a long day of play, you can book yourself some time at the Teona Spa located just a three minute walk down the road, or work off some of those tropical drinks at the tennis courts or modern gym.  Not your speed?  Then perhaps you would like to  take advantage of the room service which is provided by Vix Restaurant.

Still looking for something to do?  How about a round of golf?  The Regent Grand offers complimentary golf at Provo Golf and Country Club for guests staying in an ocean front suite, and discounted for those on packages or occupying a pool and garden or studio apartment, and the course is beautiful!

RegentGolf

If you are looking for a luxury escape in a boutique style condo hotel in the heart of Grace Bay, look no further than the Regent Grand Resort.  This luxury property provides a quiet kind of escape from the everyday you only dreamed existed.

Details:  The Regent Grand Resort

Location: Regent Street, Grace Bay Beach, Turks and Caicos Islands

Rates: Found here.

Insider Tips:

*Drink service is available on the beach, but they don’t come around very frequently.  Save a few dollars and bring down your own beverages in a cooler bag from your condo!  (We brought down snacks too)

*Golf is included with your ocean front booking.

*Check special rates before you book!

*Remember that by staying at a condo hotel you can dramatically reduce the cost of your vacation by eating in.  Those restaurant bills add up quickly.

*Note that this is a very quiet property.  If travelling with children I would advise to bring your own sand toys and snorkel gear and take note that the pool is designated a quiet area.

*As this is a condo hotel each unit is a little bit different, but all I saw were well appointed and beautiful.

Disclosure: I received a complimentary stay in exchange for my review, as always all opinions expressed in this post are my own.

My Hubby is a HUGE golfer, and we ran out of time before he could squeeze in a round! Clearly we have to go back. To have golf included is almost unheard of! If you make plans to go, feel free to drop me a line with any questions!
