How to Survive Life in the Suburbs

Samsung Motion Sync Vacuum Review & A #Giveaway

in Lifestyle on 11/25/14

SamsungV3

Mother Nature is stuck somewhere between fall and winter and this is not making my life any easier.  I have never pretended to be a Domestic Goddess, but I do “try” and keep my house in order.  With this ridiculous weather vacillating between cold and crisp, and wet and wild, there is all kinds of nonsense blowing through my front door.   Dry dead leaves, caked on dirt, bugs?  Was that a bug?  The pets are shedding and the house, well quite frankly it’s suffering.  This is why I was more than happy to give the Samsung Motion Sync Vacuum a whirl.  I’m always on the lookout for fabulous shiny new appliances that will make my life easier, and get the household chores done a little faster.

SamsungV2

I unboxed this little beauty and found it was quite simple to put together.  True confession; I didn’t even have to read the instructions, a quick glance at the pictures told me all I needed to know.  This for me was a victory worthy of  a small cheer.  I was up and had the brand new vacuum running in no time.  Here’s what I found:  This stylishly designed Motion Sync Vacuum had great mobility and even better suction. I live in a house with every kind of flooring imaginable.  I found the Samsung Vacuum moved from my hardwood floor, to my plush area rugs, and back to ceramic tile with ease, and never lost suction.  It picked up cat hair, elastics, crunchy leaves and all manners of dust bunnies without losing a beat.  All of this with one of the longest cords of any vacuum I’ve ever tried.  I loved being able to clean my entire top floor without having to unplug!

My favourite part of this little wonder machine?

This fully detachable hand held attachment!  No hose required!  All of the power of the vacuum without having to drag the entire weight of the full machine around.

The detachable component quickly and easily releases from the back of the vacuum so you can get at those baseboards, tight corners or cobwebs you just couldn’t reach before.

This Upright Vacuum offers superior reach and cleaning.  How does it do it?

*Cyclone Force Multi Technology: Utilizing 13 cyclones you are provided with long lasting suction power!

*Detachable Handheld Vacuum: This is the industry’s first independently powered hose-less vacuum with its own dust chamber and a 30 foot reach with extra long power cord!

*Multi-Surface Cleaning

*Washable HEPA-H13 Filter

*Asthma and Allergy Friendly

The average retail price of this unit is $549.00 & tax and it comes with a 5 year warranty.

With Christmas just around the corner I know I have to keep on top of the clutter and everything my kids and Mother Nature throws at me.  This helpful list of “Tips and Tricks” provided by Samsung Motion Sync Vacuum is also a great way to be sure to be prepared for the busiest cleaning season of the year!

1. Don’t forget under the rug.SamsungV1

2. Dust your draperies.

3. Clean your seat cushions.

4. Check the back of the dryer.

5. Vacuum in the right direction! (Did you know you should vacuum parallel to your baseboard instead of perpendicular to it in order to catch all the dust and dirt?)

6. Remember to reach high and down low (This is where that detachable hand vac will come in handy!)

7. Clean Pillows and Mattresses.

8. Dust out your drawers.

9. Check your lamp shades and light fixtures.

10. Remember to clean your vacuum! The Samsung Motion Sync Vacuum has a simple sponge like foam filter, which can be easily washed and cleaned.   A quick rinse is all it take stop prevent the filter from clogging which ensures long lasting suction and great results every time.

Do you have some tidying up to do before the Holidays?  Then I have AMAZING news for you!  One lucky readers of  How To Survive Life In The Suburbs will win a Samsung Motion Sync Vacuum of their very own!

I never knew you should vacuum parallel to the baseboard

I totally admit I don’t vacuum behind the dryer OR the light fixtures. But I do vacuum the lint vent in the dryer! I definitely should vacuum behind it, the detachable part would be super helpful for that!

I don’t check the back of the dryer frequently enough! Good reminder, thanks!

Check behind the dryer. I know that sometimes there is a build up of dryer fluff there.

THe last one – 10. Remember to clean your vacuum!

It’s most helpful to a lot of people, myself included as a reminder that vacuums need to keep clean to operate at peak condition.

      8. Dust out your drawers…never really thought about that before.

      4. Check the back of the dryer.
A vacuum with good suction and a long hose means you don’t even have to move it fully out too!
