What is about holidays and celebrations that make you reflect on days gone by? Today as I get ready for yet another Halloween, I find myself thankful for pictures. Single moments captured in time, and the almighty chocolate bar to help me cope as I jump into my time machine and look back at some of the Halloween’s long gone; wondering how my little girls have grown up so very fast.

They do grow up fast. My oldest just turned 13 and it seems not long ago that I was snuggling in bed with him reading stories. Now I’m lucky to get a hug before school, just as long as his friends aren’t watching.
