The countdown is officially on!  It’s kind of like Christmas! There’s a great big build up to back to school, only at the end you don’t get to open up a bunch of presents and spend time with family.  Instead you dress up your babes in their very best and send them off to start a brand new year.  Their backpacks stuffed full of all kinds of pretty!  My go to place for school supplies for my girls; Staples!  They have everything my little students could possibly need, and of course some new fantastic things for Mom.  Even better, Staples is helping children in need with their back to school supply drive.

    Did you know?

    • One in three Canadian students will start the school year without the proper supplies.

    • 13% of Canadian children live in poverty, which is a higher rate than most industrialized nations.

    • Families with single parents or who are new immigrants or aboriginal Canadian are more likely than others to live in poverty in Canada.

    From now until September 8th “ Staples location, in partnership with one or more local registered charities and schools (click here for a list of local partners), invites donations at point of sale where 100 % of the proceeds or supplies collected will be directed to schools, classes and persons who most need the assistance.”  There couldn’t be an easier way to lend a hand!
