How to Survive Life in the Suburbs

A Beautiful Summer

in Uncategorized on 08/30/14

This weekend we celebrate the very last weekend of the shortest summer ever?  There’s been too much rain and perhaps not enough sunshine; but we’ve managed to balance it all out with time with friends, some quiet nights, and a few glorious weekend escapes.

BeachBound

I’m not ready for summer to be over, but I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Hope you all had a beautiful summer.

See you in September!  MWAH!   xoxo

Rain is never fun unless you can just chill out with a good book and cup of tea and listen to the sound on the windows

This summer passed by way too quickly. Not as warm as I had hoped it would be.. I do love the beauty of fall & look forward to that season too.

Hoping we have the warmest of fall weather to make up for the rather dreary summer 🙂

Glad to hear you and the fam had a wonderful summer! I am in such disbelief that is is ‘over’ as far as it being BTS time… IT slipped away from me and I didn’t even see it somehow 🙂 I am still keeping my fingers crossed for a little Indian summer to come our way!

I think I’m a little bit in shock that summer is actually over! Perhaps we need ice cream to cry in “)

Grand Bend is beautiful in the fall!
We hope to get up there at least one more time before the snow flys.

If it makes you happy than it is not wrong. I am no where near ready to think about Christmas but have already bought most of this years Hallmark ornaments that I collect but haven’t even had the desire to post them yet!!!
