Join Me In The P&G #cleanwater Photo Challenge! #PGmom

We splash in our crystal clear pool all summer long, my girls jump on the trampoline as the sprinkler attacks them from underneath, we dash indoors and gulp down a cool refreshing clean glass of water.  I know we are lucky to live where we do; I hope my children know they are blessed to have access to clean and safe water. 

“As Canadians, we have a seemingly unlimited supply of clean water, so it’s no wonder that we often take it for granted. Yet approximately one billion people in the developing world do not have the same luxury, and diseases from contaminated water are killing more children every day than HIV/AIDS and malaria combined”  The P&G Children’s Safe Drinking Water (CSDW) Program helps provide clean drinking water to people in need through a water purifying technology developed by P&G. One small P&G purification packet quickly turns 10 litres of dirty, potentially deadly water into clean, drinkable water.  Amazing isn’t it!  P&G and Walmart are doing their part to raise awareness and provide access to safe drinking water around the world.

Starting today through July 31 I’d love you to share your photos of the role clean water plays in your life.  It’s a fun two week challenge that will have you thinking about how you use clean water and how lucky we are to live where we do!
