What happens when your washing machine has been broken for a week and you leave on a trip to Jamaica tomorrow? This:
Not enough hours in the day. Not enough space on the drying rack. This is the act of a real desperate housewife. Just saying.

Awe man, that stinks right before a trip! Happened to me recently and I had clothes draped over chairs and couches near our pellet stove to dry quickly. Have a fun trip!
I’d say that stinks, but you are going to Jamaica. Jealous!
My entry is #34. Come by and vote for us 1 last time?
haha what ever it takes to get it done eh?
have fun on the trip!
omg i understand about not enough hours in the day and it takes forever to dry! AYEYAYAY i hope the machine gets fixerd soon!
oh no, i hate when that happens, but when life gives you lemons you make lemonade! we need clean clothes!
I hope everything went fine and you are on your way to my homeland, Jamaica! Do have a whale of a time Stephanie!
Looks like something I would do! Okay, I HAVE done it many times. The one thing I miss about living in Arizona is the opportunity to hang everything outside, everyday, and have it dry in about 10 minutes! Not so much in Portland, OR! HA!
Eeek! I washed all my towels and comforters last week and then the apartment complex dryers weren’t working. That was a pain, too! Best of luck.
Nice – my bedroom looked like this on Sunday after doing about 9 loads of laundry. My dryer works just fine but I have a lot of stuff that has to hang dry. You gotta do what you gotta do. 🙂
I have found many times in life that you have to do different things sometimes to get the job done.
I’m feeling for ya….
Put a few more drying racks on your Christmas list, woman!
I’ve seen my aunt do that before too! Hey if it works… 🙂
Sad to say …I have been there! 🙁 Have fun!
Doesn’t this take the varnish off the rail? I was using chairs a couple of times and oh the mess… I’ve had good luck with the curtain rods in the bedroom windows.
