There is too much ugly, too much drama, so much sadness and far too many boo hoo HOOers in the world. (Myself included. It is so easy to get caught up in complaining and sadness!) So for this fabulous fresh start to a Monday morning I choose to simply give you a little list of awesome. Here is my list of little things that can truly help to make any day a wee bit more “awesome”!
*The smell of bacon sizzling away in the oven.
*The sweetness of Romantic Hubby presenting me with a coffee when he walks in the door after a long day at work.
*An unexpected dinner invite.
*The top down on the car on a sunny afternoon.
*Stumbling across a 50% off sale for anything!
*A bright new manicure.
*Finding that you still have some chocolate left in your hidden chocolate stash.
*Shutting out the world and settling in for a great movie with your family.
*A kind word from a stranger.
*The giggle of a toddler.
*Beach days. Everything about beach days.
*Laughing at inside jokes.
*Long walks
*Holding Hands.
*Finding the last cookie in the cookie jar.
*Ice cream, maybe even for dinner.
*Love Letters
*A good book, and maybe some time to read it.
*An e-mail with only good news and well wishes.
*Someone offering to take your kids for the night!
*Date night…whatever that may be.
*Finding a primo parking spot right in front of the grocery store when it’s raining.
*A phone call and a good gab with a girlfriend “)
*Hugs from these people….
It’s not always the big dramatic life changing events that bring the happy. In all honesty, it really is the little things. Wishing you all a beautiful Monday, and I hope you will add to my simple list of awesome!

I am all about silver linings! I get so fed up by all the complaining on Facebook sometimes! Getting a room clean in your house, having pizza for dinner during the week, or feeling the cool grass on your feet on a beautiful day are some things that make me smile! Glad your glass is half full today!
