It’s Been A Year

I can’t believe it has been a year.  One year since I went on the vacation of a lifetime.  One year since I had the most romantic Birthday lunch any girl could ever ask for on the top of the Eiffel Tower.  Le Sigh.

Yes, today I turn 41.  Gulp.  Instead of dwelling on that, I will remember all that was Paris.  

Walking hand in hand down century old streets until our feet hurt.

Hot chocolate for breakfast and gourmet dinners.

Laughing until our faces ached, talking until we found that quiet comfortable place, and then practicing our French as only two in love can. Re-discovering life as a couple. Being quiet, being inspired, being awed. It was falling in love all over again.

Paris was more then I could have ever dreamed of.

I’m so grateful for these memories so indulge me as I play my super sappy You Tube video one more time!

      My daughter M wanted to always go to Paris when she was 30 for her birthday the best I could do for her was a weekend in Montreal it was wonderful.
