How to Survive Life in the Suburbs

WTH is that Wednesday?

in Uncategorized on 05/11/11

Socks2 I can’t find any….socks!  Are you kidding me.  We scoured the house, collected them all, and ended up with a freakin sock mountain.  Sigh.  Now I just need to sort.  Volunteers?

Socks

Please, please tell me I am not the only Mama with a sock mountain.  Socks should really be disposable.

It’s almost barefoot weather right?

Try having 6 people and 4 of them wear the same sock size. I hate socks so much that when I do laundry I will not even acknowledge the socks I put them all in a separate basket and then when someone pisses me off they get to sort them all out.

Everyone once in a while I make the older three kids help. We watch tv while each kid picks out and matches up their socks. At least that narrows the pile by 3/7!!

i don’t have a mountain of socks. what i do i assign this matching of socks to my two daughters while they are watching tv. including undies and ask them to put them in drawers to where it belongs.
solve no mountain, i do this every weekend.
sort out the ones that you’re not using.
      goodluck for the mountain…

I have a sock recycling box(just my socks), mr has a bunch of the exact same socks so finding a match is easy. The babies hate socks and take them off and throw them out of the stroller when I’m not looking, so no one gets matching socks…

Oh, gosh… those are a LOT of socks! Have fun matching! It’s a bit more fun than folding laundry, right? 😉 Haha! Good Luck!

My sock mountain seems to be full of oneless socks. Meaning, there is not a freaking PAIR in the whole thing! I don;t understand how you can lose a sock from a pair. 2 socks is not that hard to keep up with but I swear the old saying is true- the washing machine ate it! There is no other explanation for my pairless socks! Or is there? Humm….

Oh my gosh,, thank you for my morning laugh!! I have two grocery bags full of socks right now, and I can never find matching ones.. I actually threw a bag out a couple of weeks ago because I was so fed up. Its a good thing it’s now summer or they would have all ended up in the garbage. I would rather buy all new than be faced with those bags!!

A bag full….every once in a while I tell Ollie we are playing the sock game and we play matching!!!He still thinks its fun.
