Can you see what is in this picture? No? Let me explain.
It was dark. It was rainy. The Hubby was driving and who pulls up next to us? A man doing a crossword puzzle while he was driving!!
So you are not allowed to be chatting on your phone here in Ontario, unless it’s hands free. Texting is a big no no. Big fine. But guess what? Apparently there is no rule against doing a crossword while driving in four lanes of traffic.
What a fool. I should have snapped a picture of his license plate too.

Crossword puzzle? That is pretty new! Unbelievable!
Don’t you know crossword puzzles are good for you?
Seriously though, I once drove behind a woman that was trying to creep her car through the preschool pickup line AND read a paperback. She almost ran into the wall. I thought I was going to have to pull her out of her car and beat her.
What are people thinking?
Isn’t that just ridiculous?
All kinds of WRONG!
I have never seen that. I think if I had I’d be so stunned I wouldn’t know what to do. Except maybe hold the obituaries up to the window.
I’ve seen this before! I’m always shocked! The nerve of some people.
Just when you think you’ve seen it all. People never cease to amaze me.
Incredibly stupid, selfish and self-centered. I feel sorry for all the people who get in accidents because of this creep.
Add to the list drinking hot beverages, eating meals, applying makeup and playing with the stereo while trying to drive in traffic – *shakes head*
Nice… I’ve seen that too. The best is when the newspaper is spread out over the steering wheel.
Yes you should have gotten his plate too! That makes me so mad.
I didn’t have the heart today to say anything so I didn’t comment at all on a blog where he son was doing some dance to the radio and she was video taping him. I could see the scenery outside moving too so she was doing it while she was driving. And they want to blame someone when they have an accident!
Wow…that’s all I can think right now…WOW!
On June 10th WA state just became a no cell phone while driving state…thank goodness!
Maybe they need to include crosswords along with phones.
Oh.My.Hell. What the hell is wrong with some people!?!?
It’s people like this that have *me* afraid to drive sometimes – and even more terrified of Man-Child driving…
Goodness, gracious! That is scary. I would have honked at him and do a military hand-eye signal for him to pay attention on the road. Gosh that is so scary!
