How to Survive Life in the Suburbs

That Old Lady Blouse

in Uncategorized on 05/26/10

Okay, you asked for it so here it is.  The old lady blouse.  The tags are still attached so I’m thinking I can still take this baby back!

Is it too “old lady” for this hip Mama from the Suburbs?

I look at the pictures and think it might be.  Eeek

Please be honest, you can be, you don’t really “know” me!

Ha…just remember, the camera adds ten pounds.

Mwah!

I like it. i would wear it. I think the styling is very hip and I like the style of the shirt a lot…I could maybe see where the pattern is a tad old lady but regardless the style is not. no old lady would show cleavage like that.

      Hmmm… I kinda like it a bit and I don’t. But more of ‘I don’t.’ But that’s just me.

I LOVE IT. But then again I am really, really old. (42!)
And if the camrera adds 10lbs, I am bringing you cake and icecream today.
      Keep it.

Okay, cute in that “Boho” way (Like Suzanne said.). I think you should pull your hair back and wear a great pair of earrings.

However, if you don’t feel comfortable, and are questioning the purchase, you probably won’t wear it. Maybe you should return it and buy something you love! 🙂

      Hope this helps!

      Have a great day! 🙂

I like it. Especially paired with the jeans. It’s very Courtney Novogratz (except she’d have it with a hippy dippy skirt).

What does yoiu gut say? If you keep it will you wear it? If not get the money honey.

I think it is adorable BoHo/ Mommy on the Go perfection. You can always make it look more youthful by “funkifying” your accessories and you could probably even pair it with some cute black linen shorts for summer. Just my opinion. What it boils down to is how do you feel in the shirt? If you don’t feel like a hot Mama in the shirt..its irrelevant what it looks like to the rest of us. Go with how you feel in it. There in lies your true answer! Seeing that the tags are still on it, I’d say you’ve answered your own question:)
10 lbs???Girl, you look great! if that’s with 10 camera pounds added, you may be in danger of being underweight:)Happy Mothering!

I like it too but I can see what you mean, I have a problem with patterns and “old ladyness”…..

Well i love it (27 1/2 year old raising her hand)! I would TOTALLY wear it! I mean HELLO Cleavage! My enormous DD would need a cami under it (unless i was trying to prep my husband to say yes to something) but i think it’s great and i LOVE it with Jeans!

I like it… I have some things that are also worn by women of a certain age… but they look good on me and they work. If you aren’t comfortable with it though, then you might want to return it. Good luck.

I think it’s really cute! And, shit, if the camera added 10 pounds, all I have to say is, “Eat a damn cheeseburger, Woman, you’re too skinny!”

I think it’s cute. I don’t know what kind of shirts you usually wear though.

Hmmm…Maybe it’s just me but I kind of like it. Mixed with your faded jeans, it looks very “Boho chic”:-) Guess it depends on the cost. If you got a great deal, I say keep it:-) But what do I know… haha
