Money. It’s not my thing. Don’t get me wrong, I like knowing it’s in the bank, I rely on it for my serious addiction to bags, vacations and all things shoe. It is just not something I spend a lot of time considering. Certainly not something I’m passionate about. Odd really since my father was a big shot in the Toronto banking scene.

Then I received this book. Get Financially Naked. How To Talk Money with your honey. Now, I’m thinking perhaps my dollars and cents deserve a little more respect!

This easy to read financial guide gets a girl thinking and conversation flowing.

~Forget size, What really matters Is financial compatibility.

~Do you know how much it costs the average family to raise a child? (hint the more you make the more you are likely to spend and it ain’t cheap!)

There are some fantastic talking points and work sheets that the authors carefully walk you through to help you on the way to living your financial dream. What ever that may be!

    4. Ohhhh it’s been a long, uphill battle with hubby and I (complete financial opposites) but he was willing to change for the better, he’s come a long way the past couple of years and I’m very proud of him. Whew! However it doesn’t always go the right way, so it’s important to talk about finances BEFORE the “I do’s” 😮

    9. How much money do we spend raising a child? I don’t want to think about it. And financial disaster is certainly close to home in this precarious economy. What an excellent choice for a giveaway.
