The unbelievably entertaining Eve from a Young Wives Tale
has passed on the Joy of Reading Award to little ole Me!
Reading really is one of my passions but what will this award reveal….
Here are the rules of this one:
1. Collect the book that you have most handy
2. Turn to page 161
3. Find the 5th complete sentence
4. Site the sentence on your blog
5. Pass it on to 5 other bloggers
1. The book I’m reading right now is called “There’s More to Life Than The Corner Office”.
(This is also a book I have been given the opportunity to do a review for! Almost done then I will be doing a sweet little giveaway!)
2. This book is a super quick and entertaining quick read but doesn’t have 161 pages! So I pick page…60.
3. Found my 5th sentence!
4. “As long as we have breath, we are not satisfied with the status quo.”
5. Now I have the pleasure of passing on this award to see what’s on your bookshelf.
The Juice is Worth the Squeeze
Looking forward to seeing what’s on these bookshelves! Oh and if you love books like I do and feel like playing along please please do!! I love a good book recommendation!
Oh, plus I’m nosy and want to know what you are all reading right now!!

Thanks for following my blog. I have something for you on my blog.
I am reading James Patterson’s “Swimsuit”.
I am reading Breaking Dawn, the last book in the Twilight saga. It is only about my 10th time reading it.
Cool meme, gosh, my book is “Voices from the World of Jane Austen”. The fifth sentence on pg.161 is-
“The main season in Bath lasted from September to December, with a second, lesser one in the spring from April to June.”
Yes, I am an Austenophile, this is pleasure reading.
Thanks, MM.
Wife of Bold: This one was fun to do!
Amy: I’m waiting for my copy of Julie and Julia to arrive in the mail!
Diane: I love your sentence! lol
Penelope:So glad you are following now! I left you a long long comment at your blog:)
Suz: I think I’l opt for the book over the movie, it’s always better!
Linda: That guy cracks my Hubby up!
Eve: Just finished the book so the review will be ip this week!
Marbella. I’ll have to check both of those out!
Amo: I just knew there were other crazy readers out there! Books are so wonderful:)
I am reading Julie and Julia. Thanks for stopping by today. It made my day.
What a fun idea can’t wait to read the review, i wouldn’t like to guess what book i have closest to hand.
I love love love reading. In my About Me section of my blog, I said I would save my books first in a fire and that is very true (after my son and dogs, of course). My dream is to have a room in my house that is nothing but book shelves from floor to ceiling. Aaaahhhh…right now I am reading “The Reader.” I don’t have it handy…it is in my son’s room and he is napping. But, i love the idea!
I just started “The Tipping Point” from current affairs/business genre. It’s a very interesting book about that “magic moment when an idea, trend or social behavior crosses a threshold, tips and spreads like wildfire”
page 161, 5th sentence – “You can do these kinds of experiments a thousand different ways and the answer almost always comes out the same way.”
Have you read the Life of Pi? That’s a must read, one of my all time favorites.
I love that quote and now look forward to your review on the book too! I’m looking for some new reads 🙂
Right now I’m reading Denis Leary’s “Why We Suck.” He’s a naughty boy, but I love him.
This is really cute!!!!
I love reading too and am in the middle of the Time Travelers Wife. IT IS GREAT. Not sure how the movie could ever compare though..so many layers to the story. 😉
Not sure why I was a follower…I read your blog, and realized today I wasn’t one (I was looking at my dashboard and couldn’t find you!)…so I (re?)became a follower…love your post about why it’s great to be a woman! I am going to write a similar post, crediting you for the idea (and not copying any of your reason!…i just feel it’s soooo great to be a girl, and coming up with reasons is fun, fun, fun!!)
The handiest book I have is The Owl and the Pussycat, it only has about 20 pages. So….I went to page 16: “Dear Pig, are you willing to sell for one shilling Your Ring? Said the Piggy, I will.”
I like your quote much better.
