How to Survive Life in the Suburbs

Short and Sweet Random Thought

in Everyday on 07/18/09

It’s been rainy and cold for three days.
There are 4 little girls in my family room singing Jonas Brothers at the top of their lungs.
I am in Karaoke Hell.

Love them while you have them at home. Get yourself some earplugs! God Bless

I agree with Debbie…it could be worse. They could be singing Britney…or Ludacris like I saw an 8 year old boy singing yesterday at the park.

Thanks for your great comment on my bday post too!

I’ll tell you how it could be worse…riding the train with hundreds of them on the way to the concert. Singing, yelling and arguing over who is going to marry Nick…uggh. That was my Friday night!

Thats’s the norm in my house EVERY day – only it’s High school musical and Hannah Montana, they are not at the boy band stage just yet – thank god for small mercys!

Oh goodness not hours and hours of the Jonas Brothers. I’d be grabbing a double vodka and pulling my hair out.

They may seem odd to an outsider but I’m so glad my kids are into 80s music and shun anything mainstream.

At least you can go in another room, try listening to Kidz Bop in the car on a long car trip. I know there are such things as headphones, but there are also such things as 3 yr. olds that can’t keep them on their head and screech every 2 minutes when they fall over her eyes, so it’s Kidz Bop for all!! Yeah

How awful!!! Boys do not sing. They like to exchange “burns” /crude comments.

Put them in the basement and shut the door!!

      But it could be worse.
      I’m not sure how though.
