How to Survive Life in the Suburbs

In the Name of Love

in Uncategorized on 04/07/09

Simply because I love them:

Today I:

*2:30am Walked Hubby to the door and kissed him goodbye so he could catch his flight to North Carolina for his Golf Trip. Told him to have a good time and meant it!

*7:45am Drove BlueEyes to Choir Practice. Came home, started coffee pot and convinced SweetGirl she was not too tired from our morning jaunt to go to school.

*8:50am Took SweetGirl to School (Okay so I kind of had to do that one)

*9:00am Shower, Laundry, Vaccum (ug), Work on Fundraiser for School, and yes read some lovely blogs 🙂 Run!

*12:10pm Picked SweetGirl up from School on her lunch break and took her to Piano Lessons.

*1:30pm Took SweetGirl Back to School.

*2pm Ran around like a crazy women picking up groceries and two birthday gifts for upcoming parties. No…not a party I would be attending, the girls. Went to the bank. Grabbed much needed coffee.

*3:30pm Picked up both girls.

*4:15pm Allowed yet another play date for both BlueEyes and SweetGirl. (not one of those play dates from hell)

*6:00pm Caved and let the extra kids stay for dinner. Put on more coffee.

*6:00pm Made said dinner, fed all kids, sent extras home and squeezed in homework!

*7:30pm Did not yell or cry when my kids stomped and fussed because they had to have a shower when “we just had a shower like a day ago!”

*8:20pm Got the kids in bed. Sigh. I made it.

*8:30pm Put SweetGirl back in bed with her second glass of water and tucked her in.

Yep, this is it, living on caffeine and love, the best of life in the Suburbs. Already looking forward to tomorrow.

OMG we’re twins. I don’t know what I expected when I became a Mom, I think it was all this but I didn’t realize how TIRED I would be trying to get it all done. Hubby’s golfing? Good on him. Where/When are you going? 🙂

      LOL It was crazy indeed!
Buzy Bee Suz: My kids get an hour for lunch but we are allowed to take our children out for 1/2 an hour each week for music lessons as long as they are good students. I take advantage of that with my youngest. 1 less activity after school!

Thanks for stopping by my blog!! I felt like I was running to the store every 2 days too which meant I spent a ton of money because you know you never walk out of the grocery store without spending more than $50. At least I do anyway. How’d you like that run on sentence. Ooopps sorry!!

      Much love from NJ,

If you could have squeezed in some reading time and a glass of wine it would have been almost perfect!!!

Oh, the things you can get done when you have to!!! You are wonder woman!!!
Do your girls always have a long lunch break?
I think mine get about 18 minutes. (can you say indigestion??)

That sounds exactly like a mother’s life. We are superwomen!

I wanted to say thanks for stopping in at my Coupon Mommie site and even though I’m not sure how many Canadian coupon blogs there are I found a Canadian forum on A Full Cup here.

Have fun deal seeking whether it be with our without coupons. Here is a great post by Jenn at Frugal Upstate who is a non-couponer.

Sounds kinda like my day, except that I did none of that. What I mean is, I would have done all that had I not been ill. Did that make any sense whatsoever?
