Recently I had the opportunity to try the Breville’s Hot Choc & Froth.  This specialty appliance is simply a must-have for the hot chocolate lover, latte enthusiast or cappuccino connoisseur. It’s a breeze to operate and was designed for individual use.  In a nutshell, it’s my new must have.  The sleek stainless steel cordless jug uses whisk-pulsing technology that blends and aerates to help you elevate your favourite hot drink to the next level, allowing you to create velvety milk for your favourite caffeinated drinks and hot chocolate. For precision control, the unit features four settings (Hot Chocolate, Cappuccino, Latte, and Baby Latte) that operate at specialized speeds to achieve different texture levels.  It’s kind of brilliant.

The 250-ml stainless steel, dual-wall thermal cordless jug is cool to the touch, as heat generates from the magnetically driven frothing whisk inside. The Baby Latte setting is a favourite among children and parents alike, for frothing and heating milk to a temperature that’s “just right.”   Fantastic for those little one’s.

 

To good to believe?  I thought so too until I tried it for myself.  After unboxing the sleek Breville’s Hot Choc & Froth I read through the simple instructions and got to work.  The skill set required to make the perfect gourmet style hot chocolate?  Add cold milk, measure in your preferred brand of cocoa, press the Hot Chocolate button and voila!  The result is a frothy, hot, cocoa that even a barista would crave.  Some of our latest hot chocolate versions have included the addition of marshmallows and cinnamon, because everything is better with a little spice!

This sweet little kitchen appliance should come with one warning.  Once you start using this Breville appliance, you won’t be able to stop.  I’m now the most caffeinated Mama on the block.  My lattes have never been at a more perfect temperature and I’m forever finding an excuse to whip up just one more Cappuccino.  Bonus; I’m making fewer coffee runs out of the house because of the quality of coffee and hot chocolate products I can create right here at home!  It’s coffee magic!
