My sisters birthday was just around the corner and I was determined to find her the perfect gift. You see, she had her first baby in October and as every first time Mama knows, once that baby is born suddenly the whole world wants to know “How’s the baby?”, demands, “I want to come see the baby!”. I remember that all to well, and silently screaming to myself…What about me!! I just delivered a 10 pound watermelon, I haven’t slept in 8 weeks and if I have a shower it’s considered a great day! Doesn’t anyone care about me anymore? With all this in mind, I hopped on the internet and did one of the things I do best, started hunting for some great deals on the net.
So what do you buy for a new Mama? Well after a couple of hours of searching I found her the PERFECT bag of course, and at a rock bottom price! (shh she doesn’t have to know that part) Now I’m not going to tell you where I found this perfect purse because what happened next …made me sad!
*Delivery time was going to be 8-10 weeks. Seriously? I’m only in Canada, a couple of hours away from THIS store, not all the way around the world
*Expedited delivery could be arranged and get it to me in record time of 5-7 business days if I was willing to pay an extra $50.00 or so. I was not.
*I considered having the purse shipped to my parents who are wintering in Florida, but the prospect of having it shipped there, and then back to me and then on to my sister, well, it made me feel all stabby. Shopping is supposed to be fun.
*Thought about giving my sis a picture of the perfect purse with a “It will be here in 8-10 weeks” note, but after looking at the fine print at this place I realized something else, if she didn’t love it as much as I did, there was no going back. Returns not welcome.
Sigh, back to the drawing board. Turns out cross boarder shopping pretty much sucks. It’s a hassle, not worth the extra work, no matter how pretty the bag.

this is perfect, I’m looking for a canadian online shopping because hubby is crazy of buying a pair of boots and we don’t like the tariffs and duties. I hope they will have good deals here.
