It is Quito’s oldest street and known for food, crafts, and outdoor entertainment.  I can see myself taking long walks navigating the narrow, cobblestone streets, Spanish-style architecture, homes with colourful balconies, and tiled roofs.  To spend an afternoon exploring and shopping the markets for local treasures would be time well spent.  Don’t forget your camera!
