Stealing Time For Me – SHOP.CA is OPEN!

Yes, you read that right!! The anticipation has been building for some time, and now I’m excited to be able to announce that SHOP.CA is open!  This calls for more then a celebration, it calls for some good old fashioned retail therapy!  The timing couldn’t be more perfect. It’s funny, I always think I’m going to have all these extra hours to do anything I like in the summer when as it turn out, the complete opposite is true.  With the kids home all summer, which I love, this Mama just doesn’t seem to get one moment to herself!  So today, in a rare moment of quiet I’m stealing some “me time” and getting my Shop on!  Want to see some of my favourite picks??  With 26 product categories it’s hard to narrow it down, but here is the very tip of my list of faves:

First, the shoes.  Yes, I admit it, I have a bit of a problem with shoes, and in the summer I turn to all things wedge! This Vail Wedge by Michael Kors has me digging in my closet trying to figure out how many outfit’s I can make go with these fabulous shoes. See in my head if I can make these wedges work with at least three outfits then I almost have to buy them!

Of course I could skip the shoes and head right to the bags!!  Hello Roots Bags right at my fingertips!  Love the colour of this Selina Bag.

So how do I justify the purchase of fab shoes and purses?  Pick up a little something for the Hubby.  (distraction of the man is a key shopping tool)

Hello a GPS??  Oh no wait, this is still for me.  Sigh.  I am SO directionally challenged that it really isn’t even funny.  This nüvi 2495LMT works with both voice commands and touch?  Yep, adding this to my list. 

 

Okay so back to Hubby.  I finally did find the perfect thing!

An Oasis Fire Place!  Good for indoors or outdoors, but can’t you just see this outside on the patio on a beautiful summer night!  Love.  Romantic Hubby and I can sit outside and enjoy some quiet time while the girls entertain themselves…perhaps with some new adorable puppets!
