Snow. The snow has arrived and I think it’s here to stay. Yesterday I had to shovel the ROOF of my car before I could even dream of using my ice scraper to try and claw my way into the drivers side door. A SHOVEL. This is a whole new level of ridiculous! Do you know what a girl does when she is shovelling off the roof of her car? (I mean besides cursing under her breath and once again wonder why it is we live in the snow belt region of Canada?) She starts dreaming and planning that next vacation! Planning my next trip might be one of my favourite things to do! So when I arrived home from the icy roads of the suburbs, I jumped on line and got to the planning. It’s time to head SOUTH!
This family needs a week at the beach! One place my Hubby and I have been to, but have yet to take the kids? Punta Cana in Dominican Republic. White sand beaches, friendly people and a super short flight for those of us in Ontario! Perfect for a quick getaway from the everyday. If I’m really dreaming, I would love to check out The Reserve At Paradisus Palma Real! It’s a luxury boutique style hotel for families. Sigh.
Of course the weather is always divine in the Riviera Maya, Mexico. It wouldn’t take much convincing to get me to return to the Azul Beach Hotel! Their Family Suites are fantastic and there is so much for a teen and tween to do! I can almost smell the ocean!
