How to Survive Life in the Suburbs

Baby Scares, Blissdom and Ddrops!

in Uncategorized on 10/05/12

When you bring a baby home from the hospital, things don’t always go the way you had planned.  Occasionally you encounter a little bump, a big bump, or even a terrible scare.  When we brought our first little one home, I just knew something wasn’t quite right.

Within 24 hours of having her home things started going terribly wrong. The scariest symptom, my BlueEyed girls eyes were actually closer to the colour of Golden Rod in the fall than Cornflower blue.  My wee babe was very jaundiced.  Blood tests and Doctors confirmed that our little girl, just hours old, needed a little help. The good news, the cure for her was some time under the lights and a regular course of Vitamin D.

Looking back now, it really wasn’t a big deal.  We had access to amazing care, and could begin to immediately help our baby.  That being said, nothing is scarier than when your baby needs even the smallest amount of help!

My experience with my baby is one of the reasons I am a believer in the power of vitamins.  This is why I am very proud to announce my trip to Blissdom Canada this year is being sponsored in part by Baby Ddrops®!

DdropsProductShot

The countdown is on my friends!  In 14 days I will join 500 other amazing influential women from across Canada to kick up my heels at Blissdom Canada in Toronto Ontario!  Blissdom Canada will be a time to re-connect with old friend’s, meet some new ones, brush up on some old skills and attend some unique sessions!  With all those women gathered in one place, you just know I will come home with some stories to tell!

I am so proud my stay will be sponsored by this reliable, all natural and important for your baby vitamin!  All you have to do is take a list at the ingredients on the side of the box of Baby  Ddrops® to know you are making a good choice for your little one.

I have heard so many good things about Baby Ddrops. And speaking to a friend who works in the medical field, he is a firm believer that vitamin D will prove to be even more beneficial to our overall health than we know.

Can’t wait to hang out with you at Blissdom, Stephanie!
