Tip From The Suburbs:Timing Is Everything

Sometimes it’s just friendly to pass on good advice. This my friends is some of mine:

Have some “news” you need to break to your Hubby?  Like, oh I don’t know, that perhaps you blew the budget on an adorable new sweater and lust worthy jacket?  There is a perfect time to tell him!  The best time to tell your man any news like this?  When he knows, without a shadow of a doubt, he is about to get lucky.  (After 16 years of marriage this is cause for all kinds of celebration!)  Just as things are getting err frisky, a little smile and a whispered “by the way I spent way too much money on clothes today”.  Will be greeted with a big fat “That’s okay Hun!”   Trust me when I say he won’t give a damn. 

So my advice today, bad news given during very good stuff, it takes the sting out of it. 

It may not be classy, but it works.  Just saying.
