How to Survive Life in the Suburbs

My Love Of Bacon, Comes Naturally

in Everyday on 03/04/13

P1120026
This is my Dad.  Often referred to as SassyGrandpa.  Here he proves to us all that the need, the addiction to bacon, is not an acquired taste, but rather one that is inherited.  He loves bacon almost as much as me.  He is the reason Sunday morning is not complete without…. bacon.
*Thanks Dad for passing along the addiction, and for being such a good sport!

Okay I can see where you get your good looks from. Once I cooked a whole pound of bacon for dinner and before I knew it Lila (5 at the time) had eaten most of it. I couldn’t believe it, and she didn’t even get sick!

Leaving the house behind and headed to Ontario cottage country. 🌲☀️
The hubby and I are planning a 7 night lakeside escape just a few hours from home, and honestly, this is where the girl math really starts mathing. After an expensive year, I’m extra grateful for our HomeExchange membership — and I love browsing all the gorgeous lakefront homes nearby!

Do you have a favourite town or lake in cottage country? Tell me!!

One annual membership fee + listing our home = unlimited swaps all year long. Affordable luxury travel for the win.

If you want to travel more often and live like a local, you need to check out @homeexchangecom.
