How to Survive Life in the Suburbs

Dude, Just Move the Deer Crossing Signs!

in Lifestyle on 08/23/13

I am still in the thick of cottage country and loving every single second of it.  When we do venture away from our gorgeous rental we see many “Deer Crossing” signs and even the occasional “Moose Crossing” sign.  Love it!  (err and even my kiddos understand these bright yellow signs indicate drivers are to watch out for the wild life.)

The star of this radio call; not so much.  She would like the Deer Crossing Signs to be moved to a more convenient locations.  You know, like near the school crossings.  “Direct those Deer somewhere else” so us people stop hitting them with our cars?  What??

Have a listen and then weigh in.  Can this poor misguided soul be for real?

Haha I needed a good laugh! Someone needs to tell the MTO to put that sign in the driving test stat.

LOL! This is hilarious. She sounds so serious and really believes that we can redirect the wildlife to go where we want them to. I hope that someone will explain to her what those sings are for.

Oh I too hope someone sits her down with a nice cup of tea and gently explains how those signs “work” !

LOL I have no idea how they got through that piece without losing it!! I hope someone sat that poor lady down and explained how the wildlife signs “work”!

Unbelievable!! She can’t possibly be serious! Absolutely hilarious! ! I must send this on to our friends in Fargo.

I should mention, that it was totally true – I used to work with one of the DJ’s. Believe me, we aren’t all that dumb in Fargo! 🙂

This was actually on our local radio station, here in Fargo, ND.

Haha! I heard this a while back – so funny right? My brother lives in Fargo (where the original call came in) and he heard it live on the radio. He thought it was some sort of prank call, but, I guess she was totally serious.

Imagine if it was just that easy to redirect the deer! LOL so funny!

Oh my…….. some people are just a little unclear on the concept…….

I hope you enjoy the rest of your cottage time. I’m just a little bit jealous 😉

I think what was shocking was that the radio DJ attempted to explain the concept to her. She wasn’t having it! “).
Thanks for the well wishes! Loving our getaway!
