Wordless Wednesday–Beach Days!

Wednesday!  I’ve loaded up the car with my daughters and a couple of their girlfriends, and we are headed to the beach!   These days;  these hot, hazy, lazy days,  where you can see the heat, hear the echo’s of laughter across the lake and the smell of sunscreen permeates every breath….. these may be some of my favourite kind of days.

    1. Gorgeous pics of a wonderful and relaxing day. I was just reading about your summer bucket list (I remember you talking about those ice cream for dinner nights even way back when!) and know that a day like you show in your pictures would be at the top of our list for sure. Le sigh. Looks perfect.

    3. That sunset is gorgeous (as are you)! I haven’t gotten to the beach nearly enough this summer, and it almost seems as though summer is on its way out after making a brief appearance… *knocks on wood

    7. Beach days rock!! i have to go at least 4 times a week and let my kids play in the water park on a hot day. Too bad there isn’t one for adults as the lake here isn’t fit for swimming. But still, it’s the view that’s to die for, right??

    9. i so miss the beaches in Australia. living in Ontario now. it kinda irks me when people call the lake area the “beach!”

    11. Gosh I wish it was warm enough here to go to the beach, but it was only 21c and that is far too cold for me. I love the first picture, it is so welcoming.
